Riku (played by Misa Watanabe) is a girl who independently runs a taiyaki shop, while Koji (played by Taiga Nakano) is a biological archaeology assistant who frequently visits the shop. The strong and beautiful Riku gradually catches Koji's attention, leading him to want to learn more about her. As time goes by, the interactions between Riku and Koji become more frequent, bringing their lonely hearts closer together. However, at this critical moment, an accident occurs. Riku suffers a head injury in a car crash, resulting in a loss of a small portion of her memory, which happens to be related to Koji. To help Riku recover, Koji stays by her side every day, trying every possible way to rekindle her memories of him.
