A typical spy action film produced by Chinese investors that takes an international approach in its theme. The male protagonist, Henry, is an operative of the CIA who cleverly obtains valuable information about the Bat fighter jet, but he harbors ulterior motives to auction off this information for profit in the international intelligence market. Consequently, various heroes converge in the auction hotspot of Hong Kong, leading to a series of gunfight chases. In the end, it is revealed that the entire situation was merely a trap set by the CIA. Director Leung Po-Chi's handling of action scenes is of an international standard. Based solely on filming success, it is more visually appealing than substantial. The main characters in this film have only superficial identities and lack an inner personal world. Furthermore, the film disregards the tastes of Chinese audiences and lacks a genuine sense of substance.
