Young couple Zhang Qian (Yin Xiaotian) and Lu Yin (Huang Yi) run a small restaurant by the highway. One night, while riding his bike home, Zhang Qian receives a call from Lu Yin and fails to pay attention to the road, getting hit by a truck driven by Xu Chengliang (Louis Koo). Zhang Qian dies, and when Lu Yin arrives at the hospital, she discovers she is pregnant but decides to have the baby and reopen the restaurant.
