The unicorns govern the light of the world, and to bring back the darkness, the Dark Lord (Tim Curry) has been hunting the unicorns. Lily (Mia Sara) is an innocent and naive princess, and by chance, she stumbles into a forest where she meets the mysterious Jack (Tom Cruise). Soon, their lonely hearts begin to connect. Under Jack's guidance, Lily sees the last two unicorns in the world. Jack warns Lily to only look with her eyes and not to touch the unicorns, but unable to resist the allure of the unicorn, Lily ultimately reaches out and touches one. This gives the Dark Lord the opportunity he needs, and he kills one of the unicorns and kidnaps Lily along with the other one. To save the world, Jack seeks help from the fairies in the forest.
