After the untimely death of Hao Wanzhong, the police chief of the Chugeer Banner in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, a Xinhua News Agency reporter retraced his life through interviews with his family, colleagues, and people he worked with, recreating the image of a police chief who couldn't bear to see the suffering of the common people, who was resentful of evil, dutiful in his work, and filled with passion.
