The sixth prince of the current dynasty (played by Dan Liwen) colludes with the local tribes with ulterior motives. The governor of Longbei intercepts a confidential letter from the sixth prince, and is pursued by one of the sixth prince's favored assassins, the "Fire Cloud Evil God" Yingxia (played by Lin Qingxia). Before being attacked, the governor entrusts the letter and the tiger talisman to his younger brother Xuanming (played by Mo Shaocong).
