After completing a dangerous mission, the captain of the drug enforcement team in Jin Hai City, Zhang Lei (played by Sun Honglei), unexpectedly meets Cai Tianming (played by Louis Koo), a Hong Kong man hospitalized due to a car accident. Experienced in the field, Zhang quickly determines that Cai is involved in drug activities. Through interrogating Cai, they learn that a shipment of ice from Yuejiang is set to arrive in Jin Hai that day, to be exchanged with local drug dealer Haha, with Cai acting as the middleman for both parties. To save his life, Cai cooperates and assists Zhang in posing as the nephew of the notorious drug lord Li Zhenbiao from Yuejiang for the meeting with Haha. The drug enforcement team then heads south, passing through Cai's drug processing plant in Ezhou, eventually arriving in Yuejiang for the deal with Li Zhenbiao. Navigating through cunning and ruthless criminals, even the experienced Zhang must tread carefully. After a series of dangerous tests, both sides finally arrive at the moment of the transaction, but the deadly game is completely out of control...
