In 1960s and 70s Hong Kong, with police corruption and rampant organized crime, it was the glorious days for Chen Hua (played by Lau Ching-wan), his partner La Ba (played by Lam Ka-tung), Mao Zi (played by Zhang Jin), and a group of brothers. Chen Hua was seen as the leader of the “Thirteen Tigers of Tsim Sha Tsui,” filled with arrogance. He also met his lifelong love Ke Rou (played by Jiang Yi Yan), spending the sweetest moments of his life together. Unfortunately, good times don’t last. Chen Hua was hunted down by the gang due to his private drug dealing. Thankfully, with the help of his ambivalent ally, the leader of the drug enforcement team, Ha Lei (played by Louis Koo), he managed to escape but eventually could not escape the law. After his release from prison, Chen Hua faced the death of his father and the disappearance of his girlfriend Ke Rou, leaving him filled with guilt. He suddenly realized his past mistakes and vowed to turn his life around. He not only actively participated in youth rehabilitation efforts, earning the honor of one of the Top Ten Outstanding Youths, but also managed to bring La Ba and Mao Zi back on the right track, often resolving conflicts in the underworld, gaining respect from both sides. After attending a drug rehab seminar in Japan, Chen Hua encountered Ke Rou again on the street. He is determined to rekindle their romance, but will he easily dismantle the emotional bomb within himself?
