In 1960s and 70s Hong Kong, with police corruption and rampant organized crime, it was the glorious days for Chen Hua (played by Lau Ching-wan), his partner La Ba (played by Lam Ka-tung), Mao Zi (played by Zhang Jin), and a group of brothers. Chen Hua was seen as the leader of the “Thirteen Tigers of Tsim Sha Tsui,” filled with arrogance.
