However, within the gang, Uncle Jiu and his son Yan Guo Qu (Tang Zhen Ye) are unwilling to give up their illegal profits and eye the position of gang leader. Meanwhile, Detective Kui (Liu De Hua) closely watches the Tan family's gang activities, gathering evidence of their crimes. Tan Xin Tian is murdered, and Tan Song Shun returns to Hong Kong. He accidentally runs over Uncle Jiu while driving and escapes to Thailand with his girlfriend Zhuang Qing (Huang Yi), but frequently finds himself in dangerous situations. Fortunately, he is saved by his confidant A Gui (Huang Ri Hua). The series of events raises doubts in Tan Song Shun's mind, putting the trust between the two brothers to the test, and the ancient prophecy of the "Xuanwu Gate Incident" seems to be gradually coming true...
