Ji (Eason Chan) and Qing (Gu Zhu Lin) move into a new apartment, starting their sweet life together. They are very much in love; Qing is a high school teacher, while Ji writes descriptions for adult DVDs. On the first deep night in their new home, Ji has an accident outside and falls into a coma. Everything changes completely because of this accident. After Ji is discharged from the hospital and still not quite mobile, he discovers a series of strange occurrences: he sees Qing staring at the television late at night, learns that Qing's mother is not actually deceased as she had been hiding this, and finds out that the apartment is equipped with surveillance cameras. Furthermore, the unexpected death of Qing's ex-boyfriend seems to be related to her. The previous owner of this new apartment is actually Qing herself. Ji's sister September (应采儿) returns from abroad and keeps him company, helping him uncover the truth of the situation. Her lively and cheerful personality brings some sunshine into Ji's life. However, the truth is incredibly cruel.
