Heung Shih Yan (played by Chung Ching-To) is a wealthy Hong Kong tycoon. After fulfilling all his material desires, he focuses his life on his son, Hong Sang (played by Nick Cheung). He hopes his son can find a good partner and enter a happy marriage. Hong Sang understands his father’s good intentions, so he begins a relationship with a suitable girl, Ka Ka (played by Louise Wong). However, his father strongly opposes their relationship, as it turns out that Ka Ka is actually Heung Shih Yan's illegitimate daughter, making her Hong Sang's half-sister.
