Due to poverty and the need to care for his nearly blind father, twelve-year-old A-Niu (played by Chen Guokun) sells glow sticks on the street to earn money, but is dragged into an alley and beaten by a group of bullies. It turns out that A-Niu's father (played by Lin Jiahua) was blinded years ago while trying to save his friend, Uncle Hing, from bad guys. After losing his sight, he didn't want to be a burden to his brothers, so he reported his death and disappeared. Uncle Hing has been troubled for many years because he could not repay A-Niu's father's life-saving grace. Now, after a twist of fate, the brothers reunite, and as the master of the boxing gym, Uncle Hing promises to train A-Niu well and help him succeed. A-Niu then formally becomes his disciple and sees Uncle Hing as a second father. At this time, A-Niu also realizes a principle: boxing is not for show. Plus, he has a character that can't tolerate injustice, so every time he witnesses bullying, he steps in to help, using the bad guys as live targets to practice, which brings joy to the people and sharpens his skills—growing faster, fiercer, and more precise. As Uncle Hing grows older, the reputation of the boxing gym declines, and the income is insufficient to maintain it. A-Niu has no choice but to secretly participate in illegal fights, but the combined entrance fees and prize money are not enough to sustain the gym. So, A-Niu and Xiao Zhu (played by Ao Jinian) decide to work at a meat processing plant, which is a lowly job. One day, Xiao Zhu inadvertently discovers that his rival's boxing gym, run by Chen Biao and his brother, Bull Terrier (played by Liu Junwei), is using live pigs to transport drugs. Chen Biao learns of this and seizes the opportunity to take revenge on A-Niu, whose victories have damaged his reputation and affected the gym's business. Bull Terrier persuades Xiao Zhu with sweet words, enticing him that after sharing the spoils, he can help his father's gym through tough times. To prove his worth to the gym, Xiao Zhu agrees to help smuggle drugs. Unbeknownst to him, Bull Terrier sets a trap, and when Xiao Zhu gets caught, he uses it as an excuse to viciously beat him beyond recognition. Unable to contain his grief, A-Niu decides to confront Chen Biao and Bull Terrier to settle the score. A-Niu storms into Chen Biao's gym alone, ready to avenge his friend, and they agree to a final battle in the ring. In the end, how will A-Niu use the weak to overcome the strong and, with a heart of justice, defeat evil forces, stepping onto the ring as a champion…
