Former Mexican Federal Agent Machete (Danny Trejo) ignores his superior's orders and insists on tracking down crime lord Torrez (Steven Seagal), ultimately falling into a trap that leads to the murder of his wife and daughter. Three years later, Machete is working near the Texas-Mexico border.
