In the future of 2033, due to a comet impact, Earth has become a desert wasteland, and the entire planet hasn't seen a drop of rain for 11 years. Waterpower Corporation controls the remaining water resources and issues orders, threatening to wring the moisture out of anyone who disobeys. Tank Girl Rebecca's rebel friends are all murdered by Waterpower Corporation, and Tank Girl is sent to a concentration camp. To avenge her friends, Tank Girl teams up with Plane Girl to escape from prison, seizing a tank and an airplane, leading a group of mutated gene kangaroo people to launch a counterattack and defeat Waterpower Corporation to save the Earth. This is a quirky post-apocalyptic/dystopian punk film based on a popular British cult comic.
