Female officer Yang Jingjing collaborates with undercover Taiwanese police officer Cheng Aoqun and Chinese police officer Hua Zhiyong to capture the Hong Kong accomplices of China's underground armory. The leader of the accomplices, Ah Paul, has a sister named Edna who does not support her brother's actions. Ah Paul's accomplice, Ah Ben, has feelings for Edna, but unexpectedly, Edna has her heart set on Lian Yong. Due to the different backgrounds of Aoqun and Zhiyong, the two often clash. Aoqun is flirtatious but secretly has feelings for Jingjing. Paul purchases a large quantity of firearms from the leader of the Chinese armory, while simultaneously creating a diversion by sending people to rob in Wan Chai to distract the police. Zhiyong and Ah Ben compete for Edna's affection, but after Edna's relationship with Paul is exposed, Paul places Edna under house arrest. Edna tries to call the police and persuade Paul to surrender, but unfortunately, Paul is too deeply entrenched and ultimately dies at Aoqun's hands, while Aoqun wins Jingjing's heart.
