During the reign of Emperor Gaozong in the Tang Dynasty, he and Empress Wu Zetian (Liu Jialing) forcibly dispatched a large army for an expedition, but the fleet encountered an attack at sea, suffering a heavy blow. This incident shocked Luoyang, and the citizens fervently worshiped the Dragon King. The enchanting "courtesan" Yin Ruiji (Yang Ying) attracted the covetous eyes of various forces.
