As a fitness coach, Daniel (played by Mark Wahlberg) has many untold struggles. To maintain an edge in a highly competitive workplace, he has to work a hundred times harder than others, which includes taking drugs and injections that come at a high cost. As a result, Daniel's life is always in a state of financial hardship. Sick of living with empty pockets, Daniel decides to change his life through robbery, targeting the gym regular Victor (played by Tony Shalhoub). Meanwhile, Daniel partners with the experienced "expert" Paul (played by Dwayne Johnson). Everything is going according to plan until a private detective named Ed (played by Anthony Mackie) enters Daniel and Paul's lives.
