The story is set in a small town called Silverton, where on the same day, an unprecedented number of tornadoes hit the town simultaneously. Under the assault of these unpredictable and extremely deadly tornadoes, the entire town faces the threat of destruction. However, storm chasers who study tornadoes predict that worse conditions are yet to come. While most residents are desperately seeking shelter, these chasers head “against the current” towards the tornadoes, testing how far they need to go to capture this rare extreme moment.
