Adapted from Gu Long's novel "Seven Weapons: Jade Blade." Jiangnan's Master Zhu Er wants to find a suitor for his only daughter Zhu Zhu among the younger generation of the martial arts world. The son of the Central Plains hero Duan Fei Xiong, Duan Yu, is tasked with bringing the ancestral Seven Stars Jade Blade to Baozhu Villa to celebrate Master Zhu's birthday and take the opportunity to propose marriage. Old Master Lu Jiu from Hangzhou, known as "Skilled Hand Weimo," also brings his son to court Zhu Zhu, only to have his exceptionally skilled son Lu Xiaoyun suddenly go missing. Duan Yu saves a beautiful woman in white from a rogue while on a boat on West Lake; however, she steals Duan Yu's money pouch and precious sword during a toast. Taking advantage of her sleep, Duan Yu retrieves his belongings. On the way back to the inn, Duan Yu notices that the sword has been replaced, but finds a string of pearls and a card in his pouch. The boatman Qiao Lao San fails in his scheme and advises Duan Yu to go to Dongheng at Doumen to consult Gu Daoren, or he will face violent retribution. Duan Yu, along with the girl Huahuan Feng he met at the tavern, finds Gu Daoren's wine shop. The proprietress informs him that the white-clad woman he saved yesterday is the infamous lone female thief, Hua Yelai. Gu Daoren is her husband and is currently at the gambling table. Duan Yu joins the gambling game, returning all the silver he won, shocking Gu Daoren and the other gamblers. It turns out that before Lu Xiaoyun went missing, Old Master Lu knew he had traveled with Hua Yelai; he had asked his friend Tieshui for help, but Tieshui's apprentice was chased away by Duan Yu, leading to a trap set for him. However, upon seeing Duan Yu's integrity at the gambling table, Old Master Lu refrains from acting against him. Duan Yu produces the pearls and jade token from his bag, which belonged to Lu Xiaoyun, prompting everyone to rush to Hua Yelai's boat, only to find Lu Xiaoyun dead, killed with the Seven Stars Jade Blade in his chest. Tieshui accuses Duan Yu and Hua Yelai of conspiring to murder, attacking Duan Yu with his sword. Huahuan Feng rushes to save him, and the two dive to the bottom of the lake, where they find a poisoned young man hidden in a trunk thrown overboard by Qiao Lao San during the boat crossing. Huahuan Feng asks the young man they rescued to testify, declaring that Duan Yu is innocent, but to their surprise, the young man is Lu Xiaoyun. It turns out that all this chaos resulted from Duan Fei Xiong's refusal to join the Qinglong Society. To sow discord between the Duan and Lu families, the Qinglong Society set up this series of traps. Duan Yu, Huahuan Feng, and Lu Xiaoyun team up to raid Hua Yelai's home, where they discover that Hua Yelai is actually the wicked sub-leader of the Qinglong Society. According to the gang's rules, failure to act must end in death as retribution; Tieshui and Hua Yelai blame each other. Tieshui kills Gu Daoren; Duan Yu and his companions team up to kill Tieshui; Hua Yelai flees to escape the Qinglong Society's pursuit. At Baozhu Villa, Duan Yu realizes that Huahuan Feng is Zhu Zhu, and the two happily get married.
