Milo Gibson, son of Mel Gibson, stars in the new film "Gangster Land," with the first still image released showing Milo as mob boss Al Capone holding a gun. Directed by Timothy Woodward Jr. (known for "Hickok" and "American Violence"), set in 1920s Chicago, the film will depict the rise of Capone's Chicago mob through the perspective of Capone's second-in-command, "Machine Gun" Jack McGurn. McGurn, once an amateur boxer, was lured into the mob after his stepfather was murdered, quickly making a name for himself and playing a role in the 1929 "St. Valentine's Day Massacre," where several members of the Irish gang led by the deranged Moran were brutally gunned down. Sean Faris, Jason Patrick, Jimmy Lin Singler, and Peter Fasinli also star, with the North American release set for December, distributed by Cinedigm.
