Wang Zhaoxing's junior sister, who grew up with him, sacrificed herself during the last mission, prompting Wang Zhaoxing to consider resigning in the capital. Chief Che orders him to stand his last post, escorting a defected general to the Ministry of War. A seemingly simple task turns out to be fraught with danger. At a crucial moment, Gu Ping'an and others come to the rescue, ultimately completing the "ultimate mission," but what will be Wang Zhaoxing's fate? The junior sister of Jin Yi Wei Feiyu Camp's officer Wang Zhaoxing, Jingjing, sacrifices herself during a mission. Before her death, she advises Wang Zhaoxing to leave Feiyu Camp due to internal issues. She dies before revealing what the troubles are, leaving Wang Zhaoxing with endless pain and confusion. Carrying the doubts left by his junior sister and a promise to Gu Ping'an, the deputy head of the Ping'an Escort Agency, Wang Zhaoxing sets off for the capital to seek his adoptive father, Chief Che. Feiyu Camp is the most secretive and trustworthy elite organization within the royal guard of the Ming Dynasty, with strict discipline and organizational structure; anyone who leaves without permission will face military punishment. Despite this, Wang Zhaoxing recounts his contributions and difficulties since joining Feiyu Camp and ultimately gains his adoptive father's consent, but only on the condition that he completes one last task: escort a surrendered general to the Ministry of War for interrogation before nightfall. Wang Zhaoxing receives the task of escorting the defected general Mu Tianyou from the border defense troops outside Deshengmen. He tames the unruly Mu Tianyou in a few moves, disguises him as a Central Plains person, and proceeds along the designated route to the Ministry of War. At a tavern’s entrance, two groups of black-clad assassins approach Mu Tianyou, warning Wang Zhaoxing to mind his own business. Wang Zhaoxing teams up with Mu Tianyou to fend off the assassins while uncovering that this attack was orchestrated by the Qing She Society. The Qing She Society, known in the martial world as the "Death Collection Gang," somehow knows Wang Zhaoxing's identity and the route of his escort mission. Wang Zhaoxing decides to fully complete this ultimate mission while uncovering the truth. Meanwhile, his adoptive father, Chief Che, is making arrangements for Wang Zhaoxing to leave Feiyu Camp, and Gu Ping'an, the deputy head of the Ping'an Escort Agency, is worried about Wang Zhaoxing's safety, racing to the capital with his two capable assistants, Da Niu and Xiao Ma. In the capital, the road to the Ministry of War is fraught with danger. Mu Tianyou, now friendly with Wang Zhaoxing, stirs up trouble by trying to redeem a former companion at a brothel. Mu Tianyou finds himself cornered by Jin Yi Wei officer Wu Dahai at the brothel, and if not for Wang Zhaoxing's timely arrival, Mu Tianyou's life would be in jeopardy. It turns out that Wu Dahai is behind the plot to eliminate Mu Tianyou before his interrogation at the Ministry, as it would threaten several high-ranking officials in the court. Wang Zhaoxing fights his way out with Mu Tianyou, temporarily escaping the crisis with Gu Ping'an's help, who arrives just in time. They are taken to the Tan family tavern to devise a strategy, where Zhu the Chief from Shuntian Prefecture, who has deep enmity with the Jin Yi Wei, intervenes to personally escort Wang Zhaoxing to the Ministry of War. At the Ministry's entrance, Wang Zhaoxing and his group fend off Wu Dahai and successfully bring Mu Tianyou into the Ministry, exposing several corrupt officials who have been colluding with foreign nations. Wang Zhaoxing leaves Feiyu Camp and forms a lifelong bond with Gu Ping'an.
