Matthew (Shemar Moore) once had a ten-year relationship that ultimately ended in failure. During this marriage, Matthew was deeply hurt and experienced countless breakdowns and struggles. He finally managed to emerge from the shadow cast by his ex-wife, Julie (Denise Boutte).
