"Nightmare Factory" (also known as: Nightmare Chronicles) is an 8-episode miniseries adapted from the short works of famous thriller novelist Stephen King, who serves as the screenwriter. In "The Battlefield," a professional hitman is hired to assassinate the CEO of a toy company, but he faces resistance from toy soldiers; in "The Tail End," an American couple on their honeymoon in the UK encounters mysterious tales in a strange area; "Yuni's Last Case" features a womanizing detective who unexpectedly discovers he is a character created by a writer and even swaps identities with the author; in "The Chaos End," a director confronts the reasons and circumstances of his genius brother's death; "The Virus Continues North" follows a horror novelist who buys a painting and finds its content reflecting reality while constantly changing; "The Fifth Hour" depicts a black-and-white duo trying to extract the secret location of Willy's hidden fortune, all part of a grand scheme; "The Fourth Autopsy" shows a presumed-dead businessman forced to watch himself lying on the autopsy table; and "They Created a Hellrock Band" features a fictional town, Rock Heaven, that doesn't exist on any map — once you enter, you can't leave.
