Burning with jealousy, Hanakiyo takes advantage of a visit to sneak away with the baby. Fast forward to the Showa era. Hanakiyo runs a brothel in Omori all by herself, with two young and beautiful geishas, Kofuku (played by Akira Seri) and Yayoi (played by Ai Yoshino). The baby boy from years ago has now grown into a teenager, named Shōtarō (played by Hiroshi Nakazawa), who is well-acquainted with the ways of the entertainment district. Worried that he might take the wrong path, Hanakiyo sends him to learn at a cinema run by her patron, Island Village (played by Akira Hanagami), not realizing that this will open the door to Shōtarō's sexual awakening...
