The film is adapted from the manga of the same name by manga artist Kyoko Okazaki and is directed by Japanese photography master Mika Ninagawa. It became the number one searched movie on YAHOO Japan in 2012 and won the Best Film Award at the 2012 Japan GRP Awards! The overweight and unattractive Liliko (played by Erika Sawajiri) originally worked in a nightclub catering to "big girls."
