Renowned director Wang Xiaokang's latest masterpiece "Behind Kindness" has been freshly released. The story begins in the late 1970s, when Yang San, during his time at a re-education farm, instigates an absurd "catching in the act" incident to monopolize the educated youth Li Qing, sending her first love Gao Jianjun to prison. Later, Yang San marries Li Qing and they return to live in Kunshan City, but their one-year-old son is actually the biological child of Gao Jianjun (played by Bao Jianfeng). The existence of this emotional hazard leads to escalating domestic violence, culminating in a deadly confrontation between the two, with factory master Liu Guilan (played by Kelly) inadvertently caught in the chaos. In a panic, she flees due to fear of punishment and begins a life on the run...
