Originally considered a strong woman, Yoshikawa Sachiko (played by Machiko Ono) faces the collapse of her marriage agency, leaving her in debt. In despair, she travels to Bali, trying to find a quiet corner to end it all. At a pivotal moment, she is stopped by a Japanese man, A-Rong (played by Hiroshi Tamaki), and meets the rough-looking "Bros" (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi). Upon investigation, she discovers that this Bros is, in fact, a wealthy tycoon with over 30 businesses locally. Although she initially looks down on his ways, Sachiko humbly learns from him the methods of "living a successful life." However, it turns out that his teachings are mostly motivational phrases akin to mental victories, and to make matters worse, a man named Sugita (played by Naoto Inti Raymi), who is infatuated with her, also follows her to Bali. Will Sachiko be able to seize a bright future? This film is based on a true story; the character of Bros is inspired by Maruo Takatoshi. He was once a member of a gang, an apprentice, joined Yoshimoto Kogyo, and drove a truck. At 28, with only 180,000 yen, he traveled to Bali, and now he owns dozens of real estate companies, has adopted 170 orphans, and is also an actor.
