Young man Will (Matt Lanter) wakes up from a nightmare woven with various movie plots and stars, only to find that today is the day of the apocalypse shown in his dream—August 29, 2008. Will is uncertain about his relationship with his girlfriend Amy (Vanessa Minnillo), who angrily leaves. To make up for his regrets, the 25-year-old Will throws a sweet 16 birthday party for himself. This crazy party turns into a never-ending parody movie fiesta. As the revelers enjoy themselves, they suddenly discover that the city has plunged into chaos due to a catastrophic disaster involving earthquakes and meteorite strikes. In the confusion, Will and Amy get separated. To win back his true love, Will, along with Calvin and his pregnant girlfriend Junie, embarks on a journey to the museum to rescue Amy. Along the way, heroes like the Hulk and Iron Man are defeated by the disaster, while Will's group continues to triumph over characters like the girls from Sex and the City and the prince from Enchanted, making their way to the museum in this absurd film.
