Directed by series creator Steve Franks, it tells the story of police chief Lassiter's nightmare team (mis) returning: Lassiter is attacked and while receiving treatment, he experiences hallucinations, seeing a bunch of crazy things. Comedic detectives Shawn and Gus are invited back to solve the problem; they had already found a new life in San Francisco and now face quite a bit of trouble working together again. The discoveries made during the process will forever change their relationship.
