Nick (played by Timothée Chalamet) has always been a beloved good kid since childhood, with a beautiful and fair appearance, a lively and cheerful personality, and a wise brain. During his student years, he easily achieved considerable grades, applied to six universities and was accepted by all of them, earning admission qualifications. Everyone who knows him firmly believes that this young man has limitless potential. However, Nick's fate drastically changed when he was introduced to a substance called "marijuana." This drug, which provided him with short-lived excitement and hallucinations, soon plunged Nick into its depths. Eventually dissatisfied, Nick turned from marijuana to harder drugs, becoming a full-fledged addict. In an effort to quit, Nick went through rehab and attended support groups, but these efforts ultimately proved futile.
