During his childhood, Koichi Fujita (played by Takeru Satoh) moved with his father to the remote island of Fikugen, far from the metropolis, where he met his lifelong lover, Junmi (played by Haruka Ayase). As they grew up, they became a couple. Junmi debuted as a manga artist and gained some fame for her various works on bizarre murder themes. However, one year ago, Junmi chose to commit suicide; although she was fortunate to survive, she fell into a deep coma.
