The completely new animated film "GARO: DIVINE FLAME," based on the series "GARO," originally created by Keita Amemiya, which began as a tokusatsu television drama and was adapted into an anime last year, is set to be released in spring 2016. The main visual, symbolically depicting the key element of the story, "flame," has been revealed. Daisuke Namikawa will reprise his role from the television anime, and director Yuichiro Hayashi and screenwriter Yasuko Kobayashi will reunite for this project. Since its inception in 2005, "GARO" has captivated many fans through live-action television dramas, films, and television anime. This work commemorates the 10th anniversary of the series. It is a completely new story set four years after "GARO: The Flame's Mark," which follows Leon, the inheritor of the fateful title, and Alfonso, the exiled prince. The released main visual shows Leon, with a troubled expression, standing alone enveloped in flames. Currently, only Daisuke Namikawa's participation has been announced for the voice cast, and more updates are awaited. The director and screenwriter will continue to be Yuichiro Hayashi and Yasuko Kobayashi, respectively.
