In an unnamed island deep in the South Sea lies an advanced scientific laboratory. Within this lab, an unknown life form is being nurtured. Not long ago, mad scientists extracted the genes of the strongest Pokémon, Mew, from an ancient relic, and used modern technology to enhance and artificially create an unparalleled Pokémon—Mewtwo. At its birth, Mewtwo is filled with confusion about its destiny and soon goes berserk. However, a man with ulterior motives appears, using sweet words to deceive Mewtwo, persuading it to join forces with him to manipulate the world.
