One day, Shinnosuke Nohara (voiced by Akiko Yajima) is playing in the park with his friends Kazama (voiced by Mari Mashiba) and Nene (voiced by Yuko Mizutani) when he unexpectedly meets a mysterious girl named Kumiko Kaneyuki (voiced by Rie Kugimiya). Kumiko tells Shinnosuke that she comes from a distant future, where the grown-up Shinnosuke is her fiancé. Following Kumiko, Shinnosuke and his friends arrive in the future, where the powerful CEO of Kaneyuki Electric and Kumiko's father, Zozo Kaneyuki, has kidnapped the Nohara who is always against him. Realizing that Shinnosuke's arrival would thwart his plans, Zozo sends assassins after them.
