In a quiet little mountain village, the girl Asuka Watanase (voiced by Sotsugu Kinyuan) often stands at the mountain top, using the mysterious mineral stone left by her father as a diode to listen to the beautiful music from the outside world. One day on her way home from school, Asuka is attacked by a monster, and at a critical moment, she is saved by the handsome boy Shun (voiced by Jiyu Inuwa). A pure friendship begins to blossom between the boy and the girl. Asuka enjoys the sweetness of friendship, yet is unaware that Shun quietly leaves this world one day. The new male teacher Ryuji Morisaki (voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue) tells the children the legend of the Land of the Dead, and it is then that Asuka realizes that Shun is from another world, Yagothai. Morisaki's true identity belongs to a mysterious organization, and both he and Asuka have someone they wish to resurrect. After some twists and turns, they journey together with Shun's younger brother Kokoro to the legendary Yagothai. In this stunning yet melancholic land, they embark on what seems to be an endless journey…
