Thirteen years ago, at a busy West Coast dock, beautiful blonde Laura discovered that her lovely three-year-old daughter was missing. Over the years, Laura has suffered a lot of guilt. Years later, Laura Paddington divorced her husband and wanted to restart her life. After many years, she became a well-known lawyer and found a new partner: Jacob, who also lost a child. The search for Jacob's possibly missing child brought Laura into closer contact with the teenager. Initially, when Laura met Jacob, he seemed to be the perfect person. Jacob told Laura that she had to move on from the painful life caused by her daughter's disappearance and start anew.
