The third installment of the series, final chapter, Netflix The gates open, and the golden engravings cut through the planet. In the early 21st century, humanity, which was taken from Earth by Godzilla, sent a portion of its people to colonize other star systems, but this plan ended in failure. The humans who returned to Earth in despair faced a drastically changed planet 20,000 years later. All flora and fauna possess Godzilla cells, transforming Earth into a "Monster Planet." Ruling over this is the largest Godzilla in history, "Godzilla Earth," standing over 300 meters tall. The protagonist, Haruo, who is determined to defeat Godzilla, encounters the human descendants of the Fatuya race. Guided by the twin sisters of Fatuya, Maina and Miana, Haruo and his companions discover the remnants of the battle weapon against Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, which is still proliferating. They use the nanometal that makes up the remnants to activate the fortified city "Mechagodzilla City" and challenge "Godzilla Earth." During this operation, the previously coexisting alien race Bilshard begins to reveal its rift with humanity. In contrast to Bilshard leader Galg's belief that "to defeat Godzilla, one must become a being beyond 'human,'" Haruo cannot abandon his belief that "one should not become a monster to defeat a monster, but should overcome it as 'human.'" Ultimately, Haruo sacrifices his only opportunity to defeat "Godzilla Earth" and kills Galg. Meanwhile, his childhood friend Yuko falls into a brain-dead state due to the forced nanometalization conducted by Bilshard. A sense of defeat and nihilism spreads among humanity. On the other side, the alien race Exif's archbishop Methfys claims Haruo's survival from battle as a "miracle" to increase followers, which serves Exif's hidden "ultimate purpose." Miana and Maina remain vigilant against such Exif. Additionally, Haruo questions what he should do as a "human." Soon, on Earth, where no one can defeat "Godzilla Earth," the golden-glimmering "Ghidorah" descends, and an astounding dimensional battle begins. What is "Godzilla"? What should "humans" do? What is the future in Haruo's eyes? In the final chapter, all will be made clear.
