The new film "The Curtain Rises" starring the five beautiful girls from the Japanese idol girl group "Momoiro Clover Z" (Kanako Momota, Shiori Tamai, Reina Takagi, Ami Anan, and Ayaka Sasaki) is about to be released, with Hikari Kuroki playing a high school teacher who transforms from her usual gentle image into a strict and spicy teacher, showcasing an intensely angry scene where she throws a plate for the first time in a still released. The film is adapted from the debut novel by Japanese young writer Orisa Hirata, published in 2012, and is set in a public high school in the northern Kanto region, telling the youthful story of the school’s theater club girls aiming to participate in a national theater competition. Hikari Kuroki, who won the "Best Actress" award at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival for her role in "A Little Home," plays a character known as the "Queen of Drama," a skilled art teacher named Misako Yoshioka with rich acting experience. In the released stills, Ms. Yoshioka, while directing her students in acting, is seen throwing a plate in extreme anger, completely overturning Kuroki's previous "pure" image. This striking contrast in her acting adds significant highlights to the film.
