In a tranquil and serene forest, Kino (voiced by Ai Maeda) spends her days with her master. She follows her master's instructions to clean and manage their cabin in the woods, during which she learns to use various firearms, improving her shooting skills, and practices handling her motorcycle. Visitors occasionally come to see her master, and although Kino is curious, she seems more content with her current way of life. One day, while drawing water by the river, she encounters a male traveler whose words awaken her yearning for the outside world. She expresses her desire to her master to venture out and explore, who not only does not dissuade her but encourages her to bravely step out of the forest and embark on an adventure. Just remember, the world is unpredictable. Kino's extraordinary and long journey begins, and she will never know what awaits her ahead, but who would stop exploring because of that? This film is adapted from the work of Keiichi Sigsawa.
