An original theatrical work by the acclaimed animation studio TRIGGER, known for popular titles such as "Kill la Kill" and "Ninja Slayer From Animation". This is a sequel to the short film "Little Witch Academia," which was announced in 2013 through the Cultural Agency's young animator training project "Anime Mirai" and was made possible by raising approximately 74 million yen from fans around the world via the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. Akko, who enrolled in the prestigious European witch academy "Luna Nova Magical School" out of admiration for the witches she saw as a child, still cannot ride a broom and is constantly causing trouble. As punishment, she is forced to participate in a parade that recreates the history of witches along with her friends Lotte and Sucy. If they do not succeed in the parade, they will fail their class; however, wanting to make it a happy event regardless, Akko plans a parade that involves the entire town...
