After meeting Garland and learning the truth about their world, as well as experiencing the humiliation of those days, Shogo distanced himself from society and joined the motorcycle gang "Trash." The world was declared to be under wartime due to information manipulation, while fierce battles between the invader Dezark and Megazone raged outside the false reality. During this time, Shogo, the only person who knows all the truth, found himself engaging in reckless behaviors that could be seen as self-destructive, possibly triggered by his previous confrontation with B.D.
