The world 10,000 years before Christ is mysterious and distant. In the perpetually snow-covered Great White Mountain, the Ayako tribe lives by hunting. They are skilled at hunting mammoths, but as the number of mammoths dwindles, the Ayako tribe faces extinction. A seer, an old woman, foretells before her death that the Ayako tribe will face an invasion from a four-legged demon, and at that time, the tribe will experience their final hunt.
