On a cold winter night, the sleepy Takaishi Rikka (voiced by Maaya Uchida), nestled by the club's warm stove, has a strange dream. In the dream, she and Togashi Yuta (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) walk down the aisle to their wedding as she has always wished. However, just at that critical moment, her attendant, Dekonly Sayaka (voiced by Sumire Uesaka), suddenly bursts in to take her away. A fierce magical battle ensues, and Rikka and Yuta face life and death separation. After waking up, Sayaka enters the room and, along with Mayama Sora (voiced by Sakurako Kyouka), asks Rikka and Yuta about their "fateful encounter." It all began on that hazy romantic night when the former Chuunibyou patient Yuta did not get the normal high school life he had been longing for, but instead met Rikka, who is heavily inflicted with Chuunibyou. Their fates intertwine, along with friends like Sora, Sayaka, and others, as well as their families, and happy memories alternate before their eyes...This film is an edited compilation of the same-named animation.
