The story follows Hashimoto Jun (voiced by Murata), who lives on an Okinawan outlying island, as he meets a lonely high school student named Chihana Mio (voiced by Matsuoka), who has lost his parents. The two boys become friends. In order to grow up quickly, Mio decides to leave the main island, and they gradually lose contact. Three years later, Mio reappears in front of Jun and boldly confesses his feelings.
