On this day, countless American citizens traveling back and forth through the underwater tunnel between Manhattan and New Jersey were, as usual, complaining about the traffic congestion in the tunnel, unaware that death was approaching. A truck filled with chemical materials unexpectedly exploded inside the tunnel, and the immense shockwave caused the tunnel to collapse, blocking both entrances. At this moment, the tunnel was engulfed in flames, filled with toxic smoke, and water was continuously flooding in, leaving countless innocent civilians seemingly waiting for death. The rescue team had actually arrived early, but the tunnel was sealed, and the toxic smoke was rampant, making the rescuers hesitant to act rashly. In this critical moment, taxi driver and former rescue team member Loch (played by Sylvester Stallone) stepped forward. He crawled into the tunnel through a vent, stabilized the emotions of those inside the tunnel, and led everyone on a desperate escape.
