The children from Futaba Kindergarten have arrived at Happy Garden for a pleasant hiking activity. During this time, Shin-chan (voiced by Akiko Yajima) accidentally finds himself in the Happy Circus, where he meets the puppet Dopaima (voiced by Yurika Hanzaki). Dopaima tells Shin-chan that she has been cursed by the evil Jorichirino (voiced by Mayuko Muroi) and can only appear at night. This circus is actually the hideout of the evil Makao (voiced by Yoshitada Otsuka) and Juuma (voiced by Hideyuki Tanaka), and Shin-chan possesses a playing card that can defeat them. Out of fear, Shin-chan hesitates to help Dopaima. The next day, a new teacher named Yukionna (voiced by Toshio Furukawa) arrives at the kindergarten, with the sole purpose of retrieving Shin-chan's playing card. Soon, the cheerful and chubby Yukionna earns the trust of Hiroshi and Misae, and drugs them to incapacitate them. At this critical moment, Shin-chan recites the summoning spell taught by Dopaima and defeats Yukionna.
