This is a little-known yet profoundly influential story set on the eve of the establishment of the Ghost in the Shell. On June 6, 2027, Major Jinmu (voiced by Atsushi Miyauchi), belonging to the army's secret unit 501, is murdered on a bustling street after becoming ensnared in a bribery scandal involving arms trading.
