This film is set against the backdrop of Nagasaki. Through the eyes of four children, it chronicles the journey of Mama, whose brother has lived in the United States for seventy years, inviting her to Hawaii to fulfill their dream of family reunion. However, Mama's late husband was killed by an atomic bomb years ago, and this event continues to weigh heavily on her mind, causing her to hesitate in agreeing to the gathering. With the visit of her Japanese-American nephew, a grudge that has lingered for over forty years finally finds resolution.
