Ordinary-looking and handsome high school student Shibuya Ayumi (played by Tori Matsuzaka) possesses an unbelievable identity, as his family is renowned as "Messengers." The so-called "Messengers" are able to arrange meetings between the living and the deceased according to requests, helping each fulfill their unaccomplished wishes. As an apprentice, Ayumi meets with relevant clients under the guidance of his grandmother, Ai (played by Kirin Kiki), leading them to open the door connecting to another world.
