Jane (Ashley Judd) is a successful talk show producer whose career is flourishing, and unexpectedly, sweet love comes her way. Just as she takes up her position, executive producer Ray (Greg Kinnear) launches a fervent romantic pursuit of Jane. Just when they are about to move in together, Ray's attitude suddenly takes a strange turn. Faced with the increasingly cold relationship, Jane chooses to leave.
